Meghan Markle erased her maiden name “Rachel Meghan” from son Archie’s birth certificate in an unprecedented move. Little Archie, was born on May 6, 2019, and his birth was registered 11 days later before an amendment was made on June 5. The baby’s birth papers no longer shows ‘Rachel Meghan’ as his mum instead it reads ‘Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex’.
There has been another major change in the tot’s birth certificate. A month after Archie’s birth, his name was changed. It may also be noted that Meghan aka The Duchess of Sussex will not accompany Prince Harry during his early summer visit to the UK. This will be Harry’s first visit to the senior royals after the couple’s debatable exit last year.
As per close sources, the visit is yet to be finalised and if Harry indeed goes to the UK, preparations are in place to welcome the prince. The 36-year-old will reportedly meet his grandmother aka The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William, along with his niece and nephews.
There is no information about if Archie will travel with his dad but as per speculations, the little child may not visit the UK if Meghan does not accompany her husband. It may also be added that Meghan’s decision to not travel is completely her personal choice and in no way is aimed to insult anybody.
