Naga Chaitanya makes his Bollywood debut in the film Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Aamir Khan. With Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, actor Naga Chaitanya will make his Bollywood debut.
Advait Chandan is directing the film, which is a remake of the Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump. A little birdie in the know informed us that Chaitanya’s character is based on Benjamin Buford Blue aka Bubba, who played Forrest’s best friend during the Vietnam War in the original.
“The team just finished a location scout in Kargil, and a 45-day schedule is in the works there. According to a source close to Naga Chaitanya, “the makers will be filming crucial war and action sequences on Aamir and Chaitanya in this schedule, which is expected to begin soon.”
Lal Singh Chaddha, which will be released in December, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are expected to make cameo appearances in the film. Chaitanya is currently filming for Vikram K Kumar’s Thank You, in addition to Laal Singh Chaddha. Love Story, the actor’s next film, is set to hit theatres in July.
