Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has expressed concern for her safety in India, saying that her family is ‘desperate’ for her to leave the country, which is experiencing a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the fact that the caseload and positive rate are decreasing, Jacqueline’s parents want her to move to reside with them in Bahrain, she stated in an interview. “My friends from Sri Lanka and my parents, who live in Bahrain, watch the news and panic when they see the situation in India. My parents desperately want me to live with them in Bahrain. However, I am pretty intent on staying put here and continuing the work I am doing,” she said.
Last year, during the initial wave of the pandemic, the actor moved in with Salman Khan and his family at his Panvel estate. She produced a music video with Salman and assisted him and his staff in distributing supplies to surrounding villages during their time at the property.
Jacqueline worked on Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam at the end of last year. When Akshay Kumar, the lead actor in her new film Ram Setu, was down with coronavirus, the film was still in the early stages of production.
