Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt suffered a major health setback recently. After recuperating, Sanju Baba returned back to the sets of his upcoming period-drama `Prithviraj`. The actor reportedly wrapped the shooting in a quick five-day schedule. Director of the film Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi said Sanju Baba did a brilliant job and lauded the actor for his hard work and passion. The filmmaker called him a true ‘fighter’
“Sanjay is an extremely professional actor and we are delighted to have him in the film. We were all too worried about his health but Sanjay is a fighter and he has shown that nothing can keep him down,” Dwivedi said.
“He has done a phenomenal job in Prithviraj and we can`t wait for the world to see him in the film,” the director added. The other parts of the film has already been shot and only Dutt’s part was remaining. With the shoot being complete, the film is now all set for post-production.
“With Sanjay Dutt Ji we had a very small portion of the shoot left to be completed and we are wrapping it with a 5-day schedule. Given coronavirus and his health, of course, all possible precautions were taken to make the set a safe shooting space for him,” Dwivedi said.
`Prithviraj` is Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming historical drama based on the life of the mighty King Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar has played the role of the legendary combatant who fought gallantly against the merciless Muhammad of Ghor.
Manushi Chhillar will be essaying the role of Prithviraj’s beloved Sanyogita. It must be noted that filmmaker Dwivedi has also directed the series Chanakya and also the award-winning Pinjar.
