Rajkumar Rao has started shooting for his upcoming film Badhaai Do opposite Bhumi Pednekar. The actor will play the role of a cop while Pednekar will be seen as a PT instructor. The film is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. In an interview, Rao said he has been an ardent SRK follower.
Talking about King Khan’s versatility, he stated, “I can’t pick one. I enjoy all genres and just love acting. Truth be told, I make an honest effort to investigate various characters.”
He added that audience will be seeing him in different roles in his upcoming movies Roohi Afza with Janhvi Kapoor, The White Tiger with Priyanka Chopra which will be his next delivery, Dinesh Vijan’s film with Kriti Sanon which is yet to be named and Junglee Pictures’ Badhaai Do with Bhumi Pednekar.Rao also admitted that he drew inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan and thus joined the film industry. He added that SRK taught him to pursue his dreams and with passion everything can be achieved. He also said that there is a lot to learn from SRK both on screen and offscreen.
