An Indian jeweller has created a world record for most diamonds on a ring!
Hyderabad’s Kotti Srikanth used 7,801 gems for a flower-shaped ring to enter Guinness World Record.
It has six layers with the first five layers having eight petals each.
The last layer has six petals with three filaments in the centre.
The ring was named “The Divine – 7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam”.
The inspiration was Brahma Kamalam, a rare flower found in the Himalayas.
The ring was first conceptualised in 2018 and took over 11 months to make.
Guinness Book in a Facebook post said the number of diamonds set in the ring is more than that found in an average jewellery store.
Srikanth is the owner of The Diamond Store by Chandubhai (A unit of Hallmark Jewellers).
