It’s an amazing news for the fans of franchise ‘ABCD’ as the third instalment of the movie is all set to kick off soon. According to the information received, the film which is destined to be directed by Remo D’ Souza, will cast dancers. The scripting of the film has already begun and is in its final stages. Reportedly ‘ABCD’ banner is still with Disney and the dancer-director is trying to get the title back. If things materialise, the third film will probably be called ‘ABCD 3.’
While taking a trip down the memory lane, the choreographer divulged about his experience of successfully directing the earlier two instalments of the franchise. He said, “It has been a very special film not just for me, but the whole team. We did a lot of prep because it was a dance film. But at the same time, it was not that hard because everyone was a dancer in the film, including my actor Prabhudheva; you don’t have to prep him up ever, he is fantastic!”
While asked about what is that one lesson he learnt after directing dance films, he was of the opinion that just the way dance keeps evolving and it doesn’t stop likewise, he is also keen on exploring new avenues, finding new stories to tell and just keep making films.
When asked about how does he manage choreography and direction he said, “We all knew that dancing-wise, we will manage. But since we were making a film, the story is very important, so, I worked on my direction skills a lot, and the story, too, with Tushar (Hiranandani). For choreography and the dance routines, I had a fantastic team, who used to be with me all the time. So, that way I got saved by my team but for direction, I had to work really hard.”
On the health front, the actor suffered a heart attack quite recently and was hospitalised for the same. Remo has swung back in action and has started working on his next directorial.
