H D Kumaraswamy, a Janata Dal (Secular) leader, accused the BJP-led Centre of displaying “strong bias” against the state government led by the same party for not allocating resources as requested by the Karnataka state government to tackle the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
He asked why the Centre despises Karnataka and Kannadigas so much. Is it because the BJP has the most MPs in Karnataka, or is it a deliberate attempt to portray Yediyurappa as a villain?
Furthermore, the former Karnataka Chief Minister reminded the Centre that it is their responsibility to meet the needs of those in need. “Instead, if people see indifference, they will revolt,” he said.
Kumaraswamy expressed strong opposition to the Centre providing only 120 MT of oxygen, despite a court order for 1200 MT, and challenged the actions of Union Ministers and BJP MPs from the state.
