Film producer and journalist BA Raju passed away on May 21 after suffering a cardiac arrest. His son Shiva Kumar shared the news on his Twitter account. He wrote, “With extreme sorrow & grief we would like to announce the untimely demise of our beloved father Shri B.A.Raju. He passed away due to sudden fluctuations of diabetes & cardiac arrest. May his Soul Rest In Peace. Dad Be A “Raju” Forever because You are a “SUPERHIT” in Our Hearts.”
As soon as the news came through, several stars from the Tollywood industry sent their condolences to the grieving family. Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar, Samantha Akkineni and Chiranjeevi took to their Twitter account and expressed how deeply saddened they are to hear the news.
Jr NTR also took to his Twitter and wrote, “The sudden demise of BA Raju Garu has left me in shock. As one of the crucial senior movie journalists & PRO, he has contributed drastically to the Film Industry. I’ve recognized him since my earliest days in TFI. It is a huge loss. Praying for power to his family. Rest in Peace Raju Garu.”
Raju had started his career as a cinema journalist and later started making movies. He ran a popular film magazine ”Super Hit” for several years. He had worked as a publicist for more than 1000 Telugu movies.
