Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have stepped forward to help with the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic. On Friday, the couple announced on social media that they are launching a COVID 19 relief fundraiser to help those affected by the Indian crisis. In a video message announcing their fundraiser with Ketto, Anushka and Virat can be seen sharing their thoughts amid India’s fight with COVID 19. The couple urged all to help out amid the COVID-19 second wave. On the fundraiser page, Anushka and Virat were listed among top donors with a contribution of Rs 2 Crore.
“As our nation fights the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems face extreme challenges, it breaks my heart to see our people suffer,” Anushka wrote alongside the video. So, with Ketto’s support, Virat and I started a campaign called #InThisTogether to raise funds for Covid-19 relief. We will all work together to resolve this crisis. Please take action to show your support for India and Indians. Your contribution will help in saving lives during this critical time. Click on the link in my bio to make an impact. Mask up!
