The death of a female guard near Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul has caused shock and sadness as her family stayed with her body inside a locked house for 20 days in the hope that she would be resurrected as Jesus Christ.
Annai Indira, a native of Pattiviranapatti, Dindigul district, was the first class constable at the Dindigul All Women police station. She was married to Balraj from Theni for the last 15 years. Both have two children, ages 13 and 9. In this case, Indira has been a Christian for the last 2 years. Balraj has split from Indira due to the disagreement that ensued.
Subsequently, Indira stayed for rent with her two children in the Nandavanapatti Treasury Colony area of Dindigul. He has been on medical leave for the past two months, having applied for voluntary retirement over a year ago. His sister, Shakuntala, came home on the 7th due to ill-health.
In this context, a female police officer has gone to her house to issue a voluntary rest order as no one, including mother Indira, has left the house for the past 20 days.
He informed the higher authorities that the door of the house was not open and the stench was nauseating. Following this, the police went to the scene and when they opened the door, it was revealed that the body had been lying in a state of decay for more than 20 days after the death of mother Indira.
Also, it has been revealed that sister Shakuntala, two children and Sudarshan, a Christian pastor, stayed with the body of mother Indira for 20 days. Following this, the police investigation, which has registered a case of mysterious death, has revealed many startling information.
