Salman Khan and Disha Patani’s success in Radhe: My Most Wanted Bhai’s Seeti Maar is incredible, according to singer Iulia Vantur. Iulia, who co-wrote the song with Kamaal Khan, admits that creating a new version of an established hit was difficult. Seeti Maar is a remake of the same-named song from the Telugu film DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham, which stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.
Iulia discussed how she joined Radhe and why the mixed reaction to the song Seeti Maar is natural in an interview with indianexpress.com. “ Of course, the song has been a major success in the south, so bringing something new was even more difficult. For the album, Kamaal Khan has absolutely changed his sound.
Iulia commented on the song’s critical reception, “Considering this song was made a big success by Allu Arjun, obviously, people will get emotionally attached to it.” Often, you can’t please everybody because everyone’s tastes are different. That is why there are so many different types of music.”
How much credit will Iulia give to Radhe’s lead couple for the song’s success? “Salman and Disha have incredible movements. Salman’s songs and hook moves are well-liked. The beauty of them is that they are very catchy, popular, and simple to follow. And he never fails to come up with something completely unexpected, intriguing, or amusing. “What you have to do now is obey it,” she said.
Iulia also announced that the song’s final version was based on a test recording she did for music composers Sajid-Wajid. “Sajid used to send me various songs to practise and put my voice to the test. Later, he called and said he’d sent my recording to composer Devi Sri Prasad, who liked it and decided to use it in the film. To be honest, I figured the song would be a hit when I recorded it. I thought it will be a test practice. And I’ll get more time to practice. It was super unexpected for me,” she said.
On the other hand, Iulia laughed off the question of how she responds to claims that Salman Khan still promotes her in Bollywood. “I consider myself fortunate to be able to sing in Bollywood. The fact that I have someone from the music industry and Bollywood to advise me is, once again, a huge blessing. However, you might be required to put in far more effort to demonstrate that you succeeded while in that location.”
“There are certain songs that put a lot of pressure on you to get it right. There are a lot of songs that I recorded but haven’t been released yet. There were a few songs that didn’t suit my voice or style. “Not all of the songs make it to the surface,” she said. Iulia also sang Zoom Zoom in Radhe, a song that has yet to be released. “That’s a fantastic album. It was fantastic. She described it as “more teasing, playful, romantic, and catchy.”
