Kangana Ranaut has reacted to YouTuber Dhruv Rathee’s video where he talked about the actor being hypocritical in connection with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s demolition drive at her office property.
Calling Dhruv a “dimwit”, she said she could put him behind bars for lying about the BMC notice for her house being sent in 2018 in his video after being paid Rs 60 lakh.
The actor made the statements while replying to a journalist-filmmaker’s post where he accused an unnamed influencer “with more than 4m subscribers” of being paid Rs 65 lakh to make an analytical video exposing the role of Sushant Singh Rajput’s family in his death.
Eray Cather added the influencer, who had earlier been hired to target Kangana and Arnab Goswami of Republic TV, had been given a deadline of one to two weeks.
Though Cather did not mention anyone explicitly, Dhruv put all speculations to rest by responding to the tweet by writing: “Lol, is this bulls**t fake news referring to me? First of all no one paid me any money to make Kangana video. Secondly, I’m not planning to make any video on SSR. And thirdly, I really wish my sponsoring fees was 30 Lakh per video, how rich would I be.”
Dhruv’s video titled Reality of Drama spoke about the controversy surrounding Rajput’s death and the ensuing events, including the demolition of Kangana’s house by the BMC.
