This look of her is believed to be from 1993. The actor looks like a splitting image of the British Royal.
Spencer is a biographical film based on the life of the regal style icon. The script of the story is premised on one particular weekend in Princess Diana’s life that brought in a sea change in her. The film is set at the onset of Christmas eve, where the Diana is enjoying with her family in Sandringham estate.The movie chronicles the events of three pivotal days of her life that changed her forever. It also features the moment when she decided to give up on Prince Charles owning to his extra- marital affair with Camilla. The name of the movie has been drawn from princess Diana’s former name ‘Lady Diana Spencer’. It was the name which Diana carried before getting wedded to Prince Charles.
The movie is directed by Pablo Larraín and scripted by Steven Knight. It puts the spotlight on the princess of finding herself again.
Kristen Stewart while talking about her character exclaimed, “The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular. I’m working on it now and already have my dialect coach. In terms of research, I’ve gotten through two and a half biographies, and I’m finishing all the material before I actually go make the movie”.
Interestingly, a Netflix series named The Crown too talks about Diana’s life and Emma Corrin is seen essaying her role in the fourth season.
Spencer also stars Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins and Sean Harris along with Kristen who will play the main lead. The Twilight actor while talking to a reporter expressed her views on the movie by saying: “Spencer is a dive inside an emotional imagining of who Diana was at a pivotal turning point in her life. It is a physical assertion of the sum of her parts, which starts with her given name: Spencer. It is a harrowing effort for her to return to herself, as Diana strives to hold onto what the name Spencer means to her.”
