Former Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik escaped unhurt as his sports car rammed a truck in Lahore on Sunday.
Malik, husband of tennis superstar Sania Mirza, was returning home after his PSL draft event for the Sixth Edition of the elite T20.
The 38-year-old cricketer is regarded as one of the finest all-rounders.

He suddenly lost control over his car and it hit the truck that was parked nearby a local restaurant. However, Malik managed to get out without being hurt.
As per a report on SAMAA TV, Malik was trying to go past Wahab Riaz’s car when the accident occurred. While he tried his best to avoid an unfortunate mishap, he escaped unhurt but the front part of his expensive sports car has been destroyed completely. Videos of the same were taken by the nearby on-lookers.
Post the accident, Malik tweeted: “I am perfectly all right everybody. It was just a happenstance accident and almighty has been extremely benevolent. Thank you to each one of you who’ve reached out. I am deeply grateful for all the love and care.”
