His comments come at the time when there is already a lot of hue and cry around the ‘ Tandav’ webseries over projection of distasteful scenes.

The Gangs of Wassypur actor also spoke about the recent clampdown on Bollywood stars , he stated: “If NCB starts conducting raids on prominent people consuming drugs, it will be problematic for a lot of people. So, NCB is not doing of this sort. 100 grams or 200 grams of drugs have been seized during NCB raids, it doesn’t really matter. NCB is not noticing people consuming cocaine in large quantity.”
There seems to be no end to controversies surrounding web series in the recent past. The theatre actor also acknowledged the fact that a lot of actors have got the opportunity to showcase their talent through these OTT platforms. “OTT platform is a great future. It is giving chances to many newcomers and talented people, but there should be a check on the misuse of this platform,” he said.
“People used to think that the Me Too movement might grow into a bigger movement but there was a fundamental flaw in the movement itself and it could not proceed so it fizzled out,” he added.
Mishra went to Indore to be a part of literature fest where he spoke about an array of issues ranging from cinema, singing, OTT platforms, and life during pandemic.
