The Queen will meet US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden next week, Buckingham Palace has said.
The monarch will host the president and first lady Jill Biden on the final day of the June 11-13 summit taking place in Cornwall, England, the palace said on June 3.
The president will also meet Prime Minister Boris Johnson on 10 June “to affirm the enduring strength of the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom”, the White House added.
The queen, who is set to celebrate 70 years on the throne next year, has met with every U.S. president except for Lyndon Johnson during her reign. Biden will become the 13th U.S. president to meet her.
She met Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at Buckingham Palace in 2019.
Buckingham Palace released no further details about the meeting between the queen and Biden.
