SC to hear pleas against farm laws on Jan. 11: The Supreme Court will on January 11 hear a batch of pleas challenging the new farm laws as well as the issues related to the ongoing farmers’ protest at Delhi borders.


SC refuses to stay anti-conversion law: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued notices to the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on petitions challenging anti-conversion laws. The court, however, refused to stay the laws in the two states.
