Emotional posts are being updated on social media by Sushant Singh Rajput fans as today marks the first birth anniversary of the actor. SSR died by suicide on June 14, 2020 and his body was found in his residence.
On the occasion of the Chhichhore star’s birthday, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti announced Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund for those who wish to study Astrophysics.
SSR’s death has give seed to various controversies and the demise is still under investigation. As fans continue to seek justice, Sushant’s sister t;ook to Instagram to announce the special fund. The fund will grant $35,000 to help those who wish to pursue a career in Astrophysics. For the unversed, the actor was extremely passionate about the subject and was often seen updating his social media accounts with pictures and posts of celestial bodies.
Shweta said: “I am happy to announce that on 35th Birthday of Bhai, a step has been taken towards fulfilling one of his dreams. The Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35,000 has been set up in UC Berkeley. Anyone who is interested in pursuing Astrophysics at UC Berkeley can apply for this fund. Grateful to the Angels who made it possible. Happy Birthday my little Brother, I hope you always stay happy wherever you are! Love You #SushantDay.”
Shweta also share a collage of her brother on Instagram and wrote: “Love you Bhai. You are part of me and will always remain so… #SushantDay.” A virtual event for his fans has been planned as a tribute to the late actor by his sisters.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are currently probing Sushant’s death case.
