In what may bring some relief to fans of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who are waiting for justice to prevail, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has informed that the investigation in the death case is underway and that they will file a report in this regard.
According to a report by NDTV, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy had written to the Prime Minister’s Office and sought to know about the current status of the case.
The letter was then forwarded to the investigating agency by the PMO.
Responding to the letter sent, the agency said: “The CBI is conducting the investigation in a thorough and professional manner using the latest scientific techniques. During the investigation, all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as on date.”
The MP had taken to Twitter to confirm the news. The leader had posted two photos with a tweet that read: “In my reply to my representation to the Prime Minister on the SSR death case the CBI has now responded with a reply”.
Sushant’s friend Smita Parikh also tweeted about it and said: “Thanks @swamy39 ji and @ips-nupurprasad for the positive news for all of us means everything to us this point of time. So much negativity threats and paid PR trying to demoralise. This came as huge hope”.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14, this year. His death had garnered much attention across India and abroad.
