Bhushan Kumar Dua, son of T-series founder Gulshan Kumar, struck a whopping Rs 167-crore deal for a bungalow in Mumbai’s Juhu.
Bhushan Kumar Dua is a music and film producer, who took over his father’s venture T-series in 1997. Since becoming the managing director and CEO, his company has soared to a net value of Rs 2,400 crores as of July 2019.
One of his notable milestones was the Guinness World RecordTM certificate that was awarded to T-series’s Youtube channel, for becoming the world’s largest channel as of May 29, 2019. Dubbed the ‘Music King’, his net worth totals to over $50 million as of 2020.
Earlier this year, in April he was seen investing in property in Mumbai’s elite suburb, Juhu. The 6,710sqft bungalow named the Besant Villa is on 1545.7 square metres of land situated within the Vasanta Theosophical Co-Operative Housing Society Limited. The stamp duty for registration of this property alone amounted to Rs 8.37 crores.
This purchase makes Bhushan the third celebutante, following Jahnavi Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan to have recently bought property in this suburb.
