A social media influencer has been arrested by Noida Police for allegedly murdering his girlfriend’s brother.
Two others who allegedly helped Nizamul Khan, whose bike stunt YouTube channel has over nine lakh subscribers, have also been held.
Reportedly, Kamal Sharma was against Khan’s relationship with his sister. He had also thrashed Khan and snatched away his sister’s mobile.
Infuriated with the development, Khan allegedly murdered the 26-year-old.
On October 28, Sharma was exiting an elevated road near Noida’s Iskcon temple on a two-wheeler when Khan, who had been stalking him on a motorcycle, shot him at point-blank range.
The 24-year-old and other accused then sped away.
The cops tracked footage of more than 80 CCTV cameras to locate the accused.
Khan reportedly confessed during interrogation that out of the money he makes out of his YouTube videos he paid one Sumit Sharma and Amit Gupta to help him with the crime.
The police are currently probing whether Kamal Sharma’s sister played any role in the murder.
