On Tuesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board and franchise owners had an online meeting to discuss the progress made in staging the remaining 20 PSL 6 games. The PCB also determined that the Pakistan team will depart for England on June 25 rather than June 23, as the PSL will end on June 24 rather than June 20. If the event begins on June 7, the number of double-headers will increase to three due to a change in the team’s travel schedule for England.
During the meeting, the franchises received an update on the 16 production company staff members who have been placed in isolation in Dubai following their arrival into Abu Dhabi last week. NCEMA will also determine on Wednesday afternoon whether or not to grant exemptions to 16 production crews to work in Abu Dhabi from June 5 to June 7 in order to make the June 7 commencement practicable.
