As the New Year rolled in, Sonam Kapoor has hit the road again. She headed to Scotland and is gearing up for her next film ‘Blind’. The lead lady is all set to play the role of a blind policewoman ‘Gia’, who is accompanied by her furry buddy Elsa, a guide dog.
Apparently Anand Ahuja, the actor’s hubby, offered a few sneak peek into meeting the teeny-weeny dog. He took to Instagram to share the photos of this unusual meeting. PinkVilla reported that the duo is spending quality time together. They were spotted twinning in black along with the guide dog while taking a stroll through the streets of Glasgow in the UK. Ahuja flew down recently to meet his wife who is shooting for the film.
The 35-year-old is doing rigorous preparation to play the part of a visually challenged person. In the film, Gia is on a hunt to track down a serial killer. Blind is being directed by Shoma Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Manisha W, Pinkesh Nahar, Sachin Nahar and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim. The film is expected to hit the floors this year.
The Neerja actress took to Instagram to share the photos of Elsa. She is seen snuggling and caressing the little dog. The actress put her heart out saying how pivotal she was for her character. And they just can’t stay apart from each other.
Kahani producer Sujoy Ghosh who is one of the producers called the lead actor as a ‘nutcase’ in a playful manner. Sonam Kapoor is on a rigid diet to play her role. The actor and Makhija are working in close cooperation to learn the nuances of her character.
